Gather and analyze data and information necessary for ALA Industries Limited to continue its expansion into the U.S. hydraulics market. Specifically, gather data on the current state of the markets for oil hydraulics equipment in the oil producing countries of North and South America, projected future growth, changes in those markets, and local competitors; gather price, performance and durability data on competitor equipment; and analyze this data and develop recommendations for senior management in Japan to secure a competitive advantage for ALA and YUKEN. Monitor relevant industry statistics and follow trends in the U.S. hydraulics market to identify new client opportunities. Collect and analyze marketing, distribution, and existing and new customer data to determine opportunities for product expansion as well as opportunities for expansion into other industries.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field. Must have five years of experience as a Sales Associate or Market Researcher in the field of hydraulics. Must also have five years of experience with new product development; hydraulic conversions and product adjustments; and hydraulic product failures.
