The following procedures must be followed to establish a claim for lost or damaged product. Failure to follow these procedures or provide all necessary information and documentation may result in a denial of claim.
Contact ALA Industries within 48 hours of receipt or damaged products or knowledge of missing items.
Provide each of the following to ALA Industries Limited:
IMPORTANT: Retain all packaging material (Boxes, products, packaging material, documents, shipping labels, etc.) for inspection by ALA Industries Limited or the freight carrier.
If packaging is discarded before contacting ALA Industries Limited or before the freight carrier has inspected the package, ALA will not be responsible for any lost or damaged material and customer will be responsible for the cost of replacement items, including applicable freight charges.
If the freight carrier is United Parcel Service, detailed instructions and UPS requirements can be found at the following website.
Although we try very hard to package and ship Yuken hydraulic components in the safest manner, many factors are out of the control of ALA Industries Limited. It is our purpose to provide timely and accurate response to claims for damaged or lost shipments from ALA Industries and through cooperation and understanding by our customers, we can easily achieve this goal.
